Valley View Casino declares 07-07-07 "National Casino Day"
General Manager Bruce Howard Predicts 1000 Years of Good Luck for All
(VALLEY CENTER, CA) June 18, 2007 – Most everyone has a special trinket or habit that they feel brings them good luck, like a rabbit's foot, a four leaf clover or knocking on wood. The most popular example is the number 7, which is long believed to signify good fortune. So it's no small matter that on Saturday, July 7, 2007, something extraordinary will happen that won't happen again for another thousand years: the stars will align to create the special date 07-07-07, causing many to view this date as their lucky day.

To commemorate this once-in-a-millennium occasion, Valley View Casino has declared this date as "National Casino Day" and is offering its guests an extra special lucky charm to help celebrate the good luck and good fortune to come all weekend long.

In honor of its self-proclaimed holiday, the first 777 guests that visit Valley View Casino on Friday, July 6th; Saturday, July 7th and Sunday, July 8th, will receive a free lucky "National Casino Day" T-shirt. Guests simply need to visit the Players Club and say the magic phrase: "I want a 1000 years of good luck!" to receive their free shirt.

"We've declared our own ‘National Casino Day' to help our guests celebrate this once in a lifetime lucky date, 07-07-07," said Bruce Howard, general manager of Valley View Casino. "Although with Valley View being named California's ‘Luckiest Casino' by Casino Player magazine and having our exclusive Colossal Coin jackpot and San Diego's only Certified Loose Slots, you could say our guests are lucky every day of the year!"

The all-new Valley View Casino currently offers over 1,330 exciting new slot machines, ten new table games including single-deck blackjack, double-deck blackjack and Pai Gow poker, its all-new award-winning buffet, the Black&Blue steakhouse and Lounge, a new Players Club, a new high limit slot area, an Elite Lounge and a non-smoking casino and bar.

This fall Valley View will open the completion of its $114 million expansion project including an even bigger and better buffet, a 24-hour café, an ice cream shop and a homemade pastry and cappuccino bar. The casino will also add an event center, a cabaret bar with live entertainment and more slot machines and table games.
