Double Deck Blackjack

Double Deck Blackjack is easy to learn and exciting to play. With the information on this card and help from one of our friendly dealers you can be playing in no time!

  1. The object of the game is to get cards that add up to 21 or are as close as possible without going over. If you go over "21" you "bust" and lose your bet.
  2. Kings, queens and jacks count as 10. Aces count as 1 or 11. All other cards are counted at their face value.
  3. Each player is dealt two cards face down. The hand that is played in front of the dealer represents the dealer's hand.
  4. Players must decide whether to "stand" (take no cards) or to "hit" (take one or more cards). You may hit until you feel that the total count of your hand is closer to 21, then the dealer will draw.
  5. If a player is dealt an ace and a 10-valued card, they have a "blackjack" and it pays 3 to 2.
  6. If the dealer's hand totals 16 or less, the dealer must hit. If the hand totals a "hard" 17 or more, the dealer must "stand" (take no additional cards). The dealer will hit all "soft" 17's.
  7. If you tie with the dealer you "push". You neither lose your bet nor gain any winnings.
  8. You may "double down" on your first two cards. You may double down after the split. You double your bet and receive only ONE ADDITIONAL CARD.
  9. You may only "split" your hand once on cards that have the same value into separate hands. You must match you original bet and act on each hand separately. You may double down after the split. Split aces will only receive one card face down.
  10. No midshoe entry bets will be allowed on Double Deck.
  11. Double Deck will not offer surrender.
  12. Even money will be offered.
  13. Players may not increase the number of hands played during mid-deck.
